In Chetumal there are a lot of things and places to visit that you will love, but three are the most popoular among tourist: Rio Tres Garantias, Banco Chinchorro and Isla Tamalcab.

Rio Tres Garantias is located at 2 hours from the city of Chetumal; this is the perfect place for those who love the ecotourism. Here you will be able to see different kind of animals such as fox, peccaries, birds, etc. Besides these incredible animals you can rent a cabaña to spend the night or the evening.
Banco Chinchorro is really deep and has a lot of coral reefs where many sheep had lost with any clue. The coral reefs constituted a paradise for divers and for those who investigates about the undersea life.
Tamalcab Island is the one of the last virginal islands in this coast and you get here by boat from Chetumal Bay. There are some things that used to belong to the Mayas and the most particular thing about this place is the lovely vegetation and the beautiful fauna that has. Besides these natural attractions, this island is ideal for the practice of snorquel and for fishing.
